EPIC

Two of my very favorite things are ending this year.  One tonight and one in July.  The end of the Michael Scott era is likely going to make me cry.  Once Michael leaves I'll need to put all my energy towards Harry triumphing over He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named.  Here's the trailer.  If it doesn't immediately give you chills you obviously haven't read any of the books, and you should go read all seven immediately.  Do not stop to eat, drink or think just go to the book store now.  This is one of those, you'll-thank-me-later times.

Amazeballs.

(Images taken from here)

This editorial in April's French Vogue is amazing.  The shots were styled by new editor, Emmanuelle Alt and she succeeded in making Kate Moss look absolutely amazing.  The clothes are right up my alley, colorful and metallic and they achieve a perfect spring vibe.

Parks and Recreation

(Urban Outfitters Cardigan, H&M Crop Top, Forever 21 pants, $6 Hat)

This hat was such a steal and so perfect for a Sunday in the park.  My roommate and I planned to do a ton of school work but ended up people watching, laughing uncontrollably and reading magazines.  Overall, a good day!  Happy Sunday!

I'm Obsessed With This.

I have been known to obsess over many things, but this seriously blew me away.  I'm unsure if all of these are paintings or a mixture of photograph and painting but I'm seriously in love with the texture use and the vibrant colors.  I also wish I could rock some blue hair like the muse in this series.  I found these images here and here, but they are originally from an editorial in A MAGAZINE.  The photographs are by NY based photographer, Erik Madigan Heck, his subject was Mary Katrantzou's Fall/Winter 2011 Collection.  The prints are seriously amazing.

Nike x Liberty

(image taken from here)

Nike is teaming up with Liberty again to produce these amay-amay-amazing sneakers.  Vintage fabrics on Nike sneakers?  Say no more, fashionable athleticism all the way.
Please please please someone send me these.  I'm planning on pairing some overalls with these kicks for a playful summer outfit.  The sneakers will be available at Liberty London on April 1st and at other retailers in the beginning of May.  Just in time for May flowers!  Yay!

Pale Ale

(Urban Outfitters Hat, Forever 21 Poncho)

Corporate Chic

(Bannana Republic Suit, Gap Blouse, Michael Kors Trench, Mossimo Flats)

March has been a pretty slow blogging month as I've had to wear outfits like this for interview purposes.  While I'm into the trench and I like the pencil skirt the whole outfit together is really not my style.  Especially those gross beige colored tights.  Although I do think I look pretty cool in those $5 wayfarers.  The outfit is necessary for the interview process if I hope to one day make the big bucks so I can buy cute shoes and a Birkin bag.

HappyThankYouMorePlease Review

I just saw an awesome movie called HappyThankYouMorePlease.  If any of you are fans of How I Met Your Mother, I think you'll love this movie.  For those of you who aren't fans yet, you better get on it before Ted reveals who he finally marries.  HappyThankYouMorePlease was written by Josh Radnor aka Ted.  He also stars in the movie along with Kate Mara, Malin Ackerman, Tony Hale (Tobias from Arrested Development, another awesome show that you should become a fan of), Zoe Kazan and a seriously cute kid.  Simply stated, this is a feel good movie.  It follows six people living in New York City trying to find happiness and figure their lives out.  Two things most of us New Yorkers can relate to.  The plot is simple, the characters are complex and did I mention the really cute kid?  Go see it this weekend.  Also, start watching How I Met Your Mother and Arrested Development.  You'll thank me later.

Carpet Baggin'

(Gap Shirt, Joe's Jeans, Zara Belt, Tod's Loafers, F21 Necklace, Swatch Watch, Ipa-Nima Bag)

Today was somewhat warm so I debuted my ankles to the outside world.  I've been seeing a lot of celebrities wearing loafers so I pulled mine out of my closet.  You can also wear them with patterned socks for a different, slightly warmer look.  I got this bag a really long time ago and absolutely love it, its fits everything and has a Mary Poppins vibe going on.  I've been known to pull out skis, bunny rabbits and full bouquets of daisies.

The Quickest Fix

(Pookie and Sebastian Top, Kimichi and Blue Shorts, Steve Madden Socks, Steve Madden Wedges)

Nobody was at home to comment on my outfit so naturally I sent a pic to my gay best friend.  Note the floral shorts, clearly I'm really sick of winter.

Virtual Vintage

(All images taken from Dan-T-Chanvintage.miiduu.com)

I love vintage clothing but tend to get a little overwhelmed at the thought of thrifting and perusing vintage shops. So, I was really excited when this online vintage store reached out to me and asked me to review their site.  The prices are extremely reasonable and they have some awesome pieces.  The store is constantly updating its site with new pieces so if you don't find anything the first time around, don't be discouraged, you'll find something soon. The pictures above are some of the things I would love to have.  To be honest, I left off my favorite dress out of fear that you guys would buy it and leave me empty handed.  Again you can shop at www.Dan-T-Chanvintage.miiduu.com.
Happy Vintaging!

Gospel Gaga

Gaga closed with Born This Way and brought out some fabulous gospel singers to accompany her!

Lil' Monsters

#sohappyicoulddie

I crafted the hair bow in my friend Ryan's hair.  Numerous people asked to take pictures with her.  If i wasn't a blogger or a law student I'd be a hairstylist. Duh.  If you want to style your hair like Gaga and Ryan, here's the tutorial that we used.

Show Me Ya Teeth

I made a spontaneous decision to go to the Lady Gaga concert last night.  Our seats were nosebleed but it was so worth it, especially when you have a camera with incredible zoom.  I swear to you it was the best concert I've ever been to.  Gaga put on an unbelievable performance, singing live for two hours straight.  She teased us the entire night saving Bad Romance for the penultimate performance.  Definitely worth the wait.  Her costumes were amazing, she must have changed over ten times.  Firing sparks from her boobs, adorning her hand with a giant skeletal claw, and transforming herself into a Glinda the Good Witch ice sculpture.  The theme of the night was unity and New York City.  My friend Ryan and I were so impressed and so inspired we literally could not speak to each other for the first twenty minutes after the show.
Gaga is set to come back to the tri-state area in April, definitely snatch some tickets.
